The organization of Transpotec Logitec 2026, the Fiera Milano exhibition scheduled to take place from 13 to 16 May, is now fully underway. Among the new features, alongside the well-established offering dedicated to vehicles, bodywork and solutions for road freight transport, there is a strengthened focus on logistics, with a dedicated area specifically aimed at this segment and its supply chain, vertical content and tailor-made initiatives.

The central role of this market segment is also confirmed by the latest data from the Osservatorio Contract Logistics “Gino Marchet” (a research by Politecnico di Milano), according to which in 2025 the Italian third-party logistics market reached approximately €110 billion, marking steady growth compared to previous years. This expansion goes hand in hand with a profound transformation of the sector, in which technological innovation, the green transition, automation, intermodality and new requirements related to last-mile management are reshaping processes, business models and investment strategies. All of this makes it increasingly necessary to have a forum for discussion capable of bringing together the entire supply chain.
The Logitec area – located in a clearly identifiable space at the entrance to Halls 22 and 24 – has been designed precisely to meet this need: showcasing solutions for the supply chain, urban logistics and organized distribution, as well as rail, maritime and air intermodality. More than 80 companies from the logistics sector – 50% of which are first-time exhibitors at Transpotec Logitec – have already confirmed their participation in the Logitec project. The initiative was created to highlight the innovative capacity and strategic role of a sector that represents a pillar of the economy, as the management of goods flows has a significant impact not only on the industrial system, but also on cities and the environment.
Logitec will host the Logistic Village organized by FIAP – Federazione Italiana Autotrasportatori Professionali (Italian Federation of Professional Road Hauliers), a qualified networking space for all players along the supply chain: transport and logistics companies, the industrial sector and shippers, national and European policymakers and institutions, and industry experts. This year’s edition will be particularly focused on companies that purchase transport and logistics services, offering an expanded program of dedicated training sessions, thematic workshops and opportunities for direct dialogue with logistics operators and managers. It will be a place where supply and demand can meet, jointly analyze the political, economic, regulatory and technological factors that will influence supply chain relationships, and build new opportunities for collaboration. The Village thus confirms its role as a tool to enhance skills, foster valuable relationships and develop a shared vision to professionally address short- and medium-term challenges.
F.A.I. – Federazione Autotrasportatori Italiani (Italian Road Hauliers Association), will present a multifunctional space designed to showcase the expertise and strength of Italian road transport. It will host representatives of all components of the Federation, the Istituto Mario Remondini (F.A.I.’s professional training school for road transport), specialized sections and territorial FAI associations. An arena for meetings and in-depth discussions will also be set up, along with a networking area which, over the four days of the exhibition, will host a program of thematic seminars and round tables on key industry issues organized by F.A.I.
Finally, the Last Mile – Microvan & cargo bike area, an exhibition and demo space dedicated to last-mile solutions, will focus on urban logistics, featuring innovative solutions to improve efficiency in our cities and reduce its environmental impact.
AN ECOSYSTEM OF CONTENT FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE SECTOR
The focus on logistics will also take shape through a dedicated program of conferences and events aimed at analyzing the opportunities and critical issues currently facing the sector.
Organized in collaboration with leading industry associations and selected sector publishers, the events will take place in a dedicated conference room located within the Logitec area and will feature representatives from national and local government, members of the academic and scientific community, experts, trade associations and senior executives from major companies.
The program will open on the first day with a conference on food logistics, organized by Fiera Milano in partnership with TUTTOFOOD, the international agri-food exhibition taking place at Fiera Milano in halls adjacent to Transpotec Logitec. The collaboration between the two events represents an opportunity to create synergies and cross-fertilization between two closely connected industrial sectors and to enhance the role of transport for a key Made in Italy market such as food & beverage.
Over the four days of the exhibition, discussions will also cover multimodality along the supply chain, with a scenario analysis ranging from maritime transport to rail and air transport and logistics hubs; logistics and the digital revolution, including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, in collaboration with the Digital & Smart Infrastructures Observatory of Politecnico di Milano and the Agency for Digital Italy; and pharmaceutical logistics, in collaboration with Pharmacom Italia. The issue of border crossings will also be addressed, in collaboration with Green Bocconi and Uniontrasporti, as well as the role of air cargo, in collaboration with Aicai and major Italian airports. On Saturday, attention will shift to the role of women in logistics, featuring testimonials from leading female professionals in the sector.
There will also be a specific focus on last-mile and urban logistics, with an event by EvenT which, starting from an analysis of the international landscape, will offer a strategic overview of the main trends and opportunities in the sector. The event will bring together vehicle manufacturers, logistics operators, energy providers and digital players, with the aim of identifying integrated models capable of reducing emissions, optimizing costs and improving the operational efficiency of cities.
The appointment with Transpotec Logitec is from 13 to 16 May 2026 at Fiera Milano.
