Busworld Türkiye 2026 Strengthens Its Position with Growth and Official Recognition

Busworld Türkiye will return to Istanbul from 17 to 19 June 2026 for its 11th edition, continuing its steady growth and reinforcing Türkiye’s strategic importance in the global bus and coach industry. Building on the strong momentum of previous editions, the event is set to expand further in scale, international participation, and institutional recognition

The previous Busworld Türkiye edition in 2024 welcomed 12,366 professional visitors from 96 countries, highlighting the exhibition’s strong international reach and relevance. Based on this solid foundation, the 2026 edition is expected to deliver even stronger results.

For the upcoming show, 161 exhibitors have already been confirmed, while the sales process is still ongoing. Reflecting this growth, the total exhibition area will expand from 9,862 square metres to 11,358 square metres, allowing more space for vehicles, components, systems, and solutions covering the entire bus and coach supply chain

This expansion is supported by a notable influx of new exhibitors. Around 30 new Turkish companies will participate, joined by international newcomers from China, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Taiwan, further strengthening the event’s global profile.

Türkiye as a key production and export hub

Busworld Türkiye 2026 will once again showcase the strength and diversity of the Turkish bus and coach industry, alongside a growing presence of international suppliers. One of the highlights of the upcoming edition will be the return of Temsa after a period of absence, reinforcing the strong representation of Turkish vehicle manufacturers at the exhibition.

The supplier segment continues to grow, with new foreign companies—particularly from China—joining the event, as well as additional Turkish sub-industry players. This development underlines Türkiye’s strategic role not only as a producer and exporter of complete vehicles, but also as a key global hub for components, systems, and advanced transportation technologies

Recognition at government level

Busworld Türkiye 2026 has been officially included within the incentive scope of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye. This recognition sends a strong signal of the exhibition’s importance at government level, both for the domestic market and for Türkiye’s position in international trade and exports. The inclusion further strengthens the event’s credibility and long-term growth potential

Continued support from the industry

The exhibition continues to receive strong backing from leading sectoral organisations, including İSTAB (Istanbul Transporters Association), TÖHOB (All Private Public Buses Association) and TOF (All Bus Operators Federation). These organisations actively support and promote the event within the industry, contributing to its growing influence and reach.

Commenting on the development of the exhibition, Vincent Dewaele, General Manager of Busworld International, stated:

“We are very pleased with the continued growth of Busworld Türkiye. Türkiye plays a crucial role as a production and export country — not only for vehicles, but also for components and technologies. It is encouraging to see this reflected in the exhibition’s results, and we are convinced that Busworld Türkiye will continue to grow.”
